iPage will sell you products they can't support. Last May I purchased the upgrade to WP Essential so that I could rebuild an antiquated web site without messing up the existing site. After months working to build a completely new site I published the new site.

The result was a "404 Page not found" error. That was Dec. 2, 2017. iPage said they have a "bug" and they'll get their engineers to work on it.

It's March 13, 2018 and I'm still waiting for them to resolve their "bug". The only communication received from iPage is the closing of the problem ticket. They will not help get the Sandbox published.

I don't claim to be an expert but wouldn't you agree that iPage should have tested WP Essential to be sure they could support it Before they sold it to me? They will not refund for a product they can't support.

I have been sing iPage for quite a while. Initially I was bothered about their service and up-time as the priceoffered for hosting is dam cheap. Later I enjoyed the service offered by them, Believe it or not they service is tremendous.

Yes, I do agree they do lag in replying emails and their chat support is not up to the mark. But if you are well versed technically then I just recommend you iPage.

I have been with iPage for several years now, and have 150 websites with them. For me, overall it has been a very good experience: it works just as I would expect, and with very little downtime. So for this I am happy to rate them 5/5.

However I find it exceedingly frustrating that I can not contact them. I have a couple of issues that I would like clarification on, but for contact I can only find two choices. One is a telephone number, but ringing from Australia and then having an (expected!) indefinite wait is not an option.

The other choice is to use their 24/7 Live Chat contact page. I have tried this a dozen times at various times, only to be faced with a completely blank, unresponsive screen. What am I supposed to do?

So 1/5 for this (and probably 0!) I only hope they read their reviews and will make contact! Paul Scott (Paul Scott info)

Contacted iPage live support asking them to check and unsuspend my account (with no files on it), but they kept on insisting that I buy their "firewall" and "SiteLock" services, with zero reply related to suspension. I've had live

 chat with many other hosting companies, never had such a lousy conversation. Without providing technical support, they keep marketing their useless expensive services. The support ticket that I created has no replies either. iPage, you just lost a customer.

Our company has been using iPage for about 5 years and everything I want to say about iPage is "awesome". During 5 years, our uptime is like 100%. There is no downtime, no lag, no Ddos.

Everything is just so smoothly. Since iPage servers are using SSD, you don't need to worry about the loadtime at all. Strongly recommend.

I have been using iPage for 2 years, and guess what I have abandoned my project because of this slow speed. You better think twice if they still not improving in the future.

Value is good for initial period, after that not so much. Tools and features are comprehensive, although the user interface is a bit convoluted and not very user friendly. The billing is where it all falls down.

The 'Billing Central' page looks like it was designed by an 8th grader in 2003. No place to see charge history, let alone dispute charges etc. And the worst part is the 'Hosting Auto-Renew' slide switch. You can just ignore that, it doesn't matter if its on or off, because it's Always on, you Will be charged again whether you want to or not.

I don't usually review. But I feel I need to post a review. I don't support the worst service of ipage cheap hosting.

The reasons why I don't prefer ipage. I bought ipage for 3 years and after some month I decided to tell that just it is the worst one.

1. The server is too Slow then another hosting service.

I setup same things in different web hosting and saw there are a lot of differences among ipage and other hosting.

2.And not secure enough, Any hacker can easily destroy it by shell access and can control server. I lost my site because of that after scanning the told my site has many infected files and destroyed my site that I build gradually for some month. I just hate ipage.

3.Yes, their support is good for massaging but can't solve problems. Even after 2 days, they don't update their support ticket for solving a issue.

I have a small business and I finally noticed we weren't getting all our email. This is 3 days and over 4 hours of customer service calls and it is not solved. The accents of their customer service agents are so bad that we can on

ly understand about 30% of what they are saying. It's pretty clear that it's about the same with them understanding us because they never quite understand what is actually wrong. I asked for a manager and was told there was only 1 so it would be about a 4 hour wait. I asked if there was any way I could speak to someone in the US and was told they didn't have any phones in the US. They promised me they would fix my problem and I would get a call within hours, but days later, no call and no email fix. Run, don't walk away from this company!!!
